Ya see I’m on a tangent right now

And my mind won’t allow me to see

Through this licentious debacle that

Leaves nothing but a fetid smell in the air

As I survey my surrounds I

See the limpid manic of those

Who claim to be of unblemished character

And seek to only inform me

Of actions

Without absolution

Yet the methods they chose are dearth at best

And come off strident

It’s becoming far too strenuous to abstain from the

Consistent refrain of

“Give peace a chance”

I have nothing but strident words

That I can no longer preserve for another day

Must be released with the same fervent delivery
